Members of the National Junior Honor Society read to kindergarten and first-grade students to celebrate Read Across America week. It was a great time to share our love of reading!

PTO would love for you to join them! Next Tuesday is the upcoming meeting at Park from 5:30-6:30. They will have refreshments and a gift card drawing for attendees and IT'S RIGHT BEFORE THE PARK ELEMENTARY TALENT SHOW!
They are also currently accepting nominations for all elected officer positions and will hold elections at the 5/13 meeting.

Check out this opportunity from the Herald Bulletin to honor some incredible educators!

Reminder: We are excited about STEAM Night on Thursday, April 17th. Students are hard at work preparing a variety of projects to display and learning more about agriculture.
We will have a fun filled night at Park with student projects, Eagle's Nest, and the Scholastic Book Fair all set up! We hope that you will join us!

We're getting closer to Kindergarten Roundup! All those planning to attend kindergarten in the fall should join us at Summitville Elementary on Thursday, April 10, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. See you there!

Park Elementary’s robotics teams competed recently, and Team A earned a spot at the State Robotics Championships! All teams showed great perseverance and teamwork. Best of luck at state, Team A!

Last week in Mrs. Friends classroom, student groups were given 30 notecards, 1 meter of tape, and 20 minutes. Their task was to build the tallest tower that would stand for 10 seconds with a small toy on top. Mrs. Grays class achieved the tallest tower supporting the toy at 49in tall. Second place was Mrs. Rogers class with a tower at 42in tall.
Students learned about criteria, constraints, and impact! #WeAreMG

Our third-graders recently took the IREAD test, and the fourth-graders threw an encouragement parade before they began to motivate them to do their best!

Happy Spring Break, Argylls! See you on Tuesday, April 1.
